Snackable Produce Popular with Consumers

According to Nielsen, snackable fruit and vegetable sales accounted for $16.3 billion in the year ending in May 2017. To keep up with growing sales, manufacturers and retailers have introduced 600 new items with individual servings of fresh cut fruit, with and without additional items.

In order to sustain further growth, Nielsen recommends that retailers and manufacturers offer a variety of healthy snacking options to consumers and keep up with produce and snacking trends.
