Pine Barrens Paddle

Join the American Littoral Society and Mick’s Pine Barrens Canoe and Kayak Rental for an exciting day on the tea-colored waters of the Pine Barrens!

Your trip begins in Wharton State Forest, home to the Wading and Oswego Rivers. Trip length is approximately 4-5 hours, based on the average trip length of beginner to intermediate paddlers out for a relaxing paddle. Time includes a 30 min lunch break!
​ *Changing river conditions such as weather, water levels, underwater obstacles and fallen trees can make this trip moderately challenging depending upon the paddler’s level of experience and physical condition.

WHAT TO BRING: Wear shoes that can get wet (beach sandals or sneakers that can get wet), bring a change of clothes and leave them in your car, lunch in a waterproof container, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), bug repellent, reusable water bottle and a dry bag if you have one. (they are available to BUY).

Lifejackets and transportation are provided to and from the kayak site.
