Please join us on April 11th to meet Lisa Luckett, author of The Light in 9/11: Shocked by Kindness, Healed by Love. With three small children and a country devastated after 9-11 with shock and horror, Lisa chose a different path and attempted to find answers amidst the chaos. For her, 9/11 became the catalyst to confront a lifetime of confusion. That confrontation led to profound breakthroughs and understanding.
This night of recovery and evolving also features Danielle Buccellato, owner of Renaissance The Studio, will talk about healing the body post-workout.
Qigong Coach Joyce Virani will discuss Qigong as a system of self-healing used in China for thousands of years to achieve health and longevity. Light and healthy refreshments will be served courtesy of The Proper Palate and Juice Basin.
The quest for health is a lifelong journey. Attaining a healthy lifestyle involves many variables and involves much more than just physical fitness or aspiring to have a toned set of muscles. Mind, body and spirit operate collaboratively for a happy and healthy life, and the issue of recovery – of our bodies and minds – is an important part of optimal performance in everyday life. Health is the new wealth!
