Time To Get Your Irish Shake On With Shamrock Green Jello Shots!
3 ounces unflavored gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup Crème de Minthe
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon green food coloring
1/4 cup whipped cream
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (found in local grocery)
Green sugar and straws for garnish, if desired
1- In a large bowl, add gelatin to water and let sit for a minute, then whisk until gelatin is fully dissolved. Whisk in liqueur, sweetened condensed milk and food coloring.
2- Pour mixture into 6 shot glasses. Cover and place in the fridge until firm, about 2 hours.
3- Just before serving, top shots with a dollop of whipped cream. Add sprinkles and small straws, if you please, to make them look like their namesake.
Option: green sugar: In a small zip-lock baggie, add several teaspoons of sugar and a tiny drop of green food coloring. Knead with fingers till all sugar-coated. Use as garnish.
