Join the American Littoral Society’s expert birder, Dan Burgoyne for an evening of birding within various habitats around Sandy Hook!

First, we will meet at our office and explore some of the maritime forests south of Guardian Park. Here we may encounter several species including american redstarts, ospreys, and northern yellow warblers to name a few!

Then, we will drive guests down to the Spermaceti Cove boardwalk. This will allow us to scan the bayside salt marshes for waterbirds such as royal terns, great blue herons, great egrets, and black-bellied plovers before sunset!

Perfect for birders of all experience levels.

Friday,  Sep 18th 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Meet at the Littoral Society Office, Building 1818 Hartshorne Dr, Highlands, NJ 07732,

Walking Distance: 1.2 miles (round trip)
