About the Event
On Sunday, October 16th, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm, the Friends of Cedar View will hold a Fundraiser Brunch for the continued restoration and care of Historic Cedar View Cemetery in Lincroft, NJ. The event will be held at Chilangos Mexican Restaurant, 272 Bay Ave. Highlands, NJ.
There will be a limited menu with appetizers, a choice of entree, and dessert. There will also be unlimited margaritas, sangria, beer and wine to compliment the meal.
Our Host, Leo Cervantes, the owner of Chilangos, is an Award Winning Chef and has also been seen on the Food Network Competition, Supermarket Stakeout. He is also a favorite Chef of Bruce Springsteen. He has prepared meals for Springsteen on many occasions. When attending a Springsteen concert, Bruce knew Leo was in the audience and shouted out, “We have Chilangos in the house.” Leo makes that statement the title of his book, “Chilangos in the House” which tells the story of Leo’s travels from Mexico City to the US as a dishwasher and eventually owning his own restaurant.
