The 47th Annual Clearwater Festival Is Back In Red Bank August 6+7

THE CLEARWATER FESTIVAL IS COMING BACK LIVE FOR ITS 47th YEAR AUGUST 6th AND 7th AT RED BANK’s RIVERSIDE GARDENS PARK.
After two years of remote, online Festivals, New Jersey’s oldest festival celebrating music, the environment and more, is bringing the annual gathering to the beautiful Riverside Gardens Park on the banks of the Navesink River, in Downtown Red Bank.
The Festival will run from 11 am to 7 pm Saturday and 11 am to 5 pm Sunday on the weekend of August 6th and 7th.
Festival favorites The Wag (left) and Spook Handy (right) will be among national and local performers presenting a variety of live music on two stages, there will be environmental information and discussion groups, plus a variety of vendors, and food trucks.
A special feature this year will be free sailboat rides every hour on ‘Pete’s Banjo’. The sailboat is named after the late singer and environmentalist, Pete Seeger, who mentored and inspired the creation of the Festival’s sponsor New Jersey Friends of Clearwater (NJFC) in the 1970s.
NJFC is a non-profit group that advocates for the environmental and social justice; has a hands-on travelling environmental program for schools and youth organizations; and a sail training program with the Sea Scouts Ship #5 and other organizations.
Get involved! New or returning donors, environmental groups, and volunteers; as well as crafters, green and commercial vendors, and food vendors, are welcome and encouraged to go to: https://www.njclearwater.org/festival.html to donate or for more information.
