Life is funny even when it isn’t. I lost my Mom almost two years ago after she waged a strong battle against dementia and then brain cancer. That’s not the funny part. Certain things that happened during her journey through dementia were pretty funny.
I had the great opportunity to write about one such adventure in the newly released book “Take Me With You.” Maureen Spataro, a friend, author and another daughter who also recently lost her Mom came up with the idea of memorializing the wisdom of our mothers in this aptly named book.
