Join the American Littoral Society’s expert birder, Dan Burgoyne, for a morning of birding along the coast as we explore Sandy Hook’s rich and diverse habitats.
We’ll walk through forests, marshes, and shoreline areas in search of shorebirds, songbirds, and more. Along the way, we’ll share bird ID tips and highlight that Sandy Hook is an important habitat for wildlife.

Walking Distance: 1.5 miles round trip, dense sandy terrain

Weather & Cancellation
Programs may be canceled for safety due to hazardous weather.
Participants will be notified by the end of the prior business day.
If the Society cancels, we’ll work with you to reschedule or transfer your booking.
