Spring Beach Sweeps

Are you looking for an activity to do with the family that involves the beach and helping the environment? As residents of the Jersey Shore, we can help clean the beaches on April 21st during the Annual “Spring Beach Sweeps” organized by Clean Ocean Action.
They are held all over New Jersey, with over 65 locations across 7 counties along NJ’s coastline and inland waterways.

This is the 33rd year that residents have come together and pitch in to rid our beaches of unsightly debris and garbage. It has grown from 75 volunteers in the first year to over 5,000 volunteers last year!

Since 1985, over 115,800 volunteers have participated and removed
over 5.9 million pieces of debris from New Jersey’s beaches and waterways.
