Every winter, gray seals and harbor seals migrate to the NY/NJ Bight. Lucky for us, Sandy Hook is one of their favorite spots to visit.
The seasonal Seastreak Seal and Bird Ecology Cruises with the American Littoral Society got underway today out of Highlands, NJ. They will continue through March and are a great way to not only see the wildlife that visits this area during the winter but also learn more about them with the help of our onboard experts.
American Littoral Society naturalists will be on each cruise to provide species identification support and additional information about the animals spotted. The narration will give you more time to take in the scenery and reduce the amount of time you spend flipping through ID books!
