Megan Callus, a breathwork coach and owner of Boundless Breath, a business dedicated to the practice and teaching of breathing techniques, is hosting an inaugural meditative breathwork class on Sunday, March 6. The class will be held every Sunday from 5-5:45 p.m. at Alchemy House of Yoga + Wellbeing, 171 First Avenue, Suite 1, Atlantic Highlands, N.J. 07716. The cost is $20.
“Breath is a powerful tool to improve health and our mental state,” stated Callus. “By simply changing the way we breathe, we can create a calming response and facilitate healing.” The class, which is meditative in nature, is designed to promote a calm and peaceful state of mind through calming music, the soothing sounds of singing bowls, varied breathing patterns & techniques, and sunset lighting for a total sensory experience. All ages are welcome, as Callus notes that while young people are resilient, they often pay a silent price due to stress and unexpressed emotions.
