The Jersey Shore Chapter of Surfrider Foundation is hosting a beach cleanup in Ocean Grove, NJ on Saturday, March 5th, 2022.

At this cleanup, we are asking for donations, on behalf of the Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Church of Clifton, NJ, which is organizing relief efforts for Ukrainian refugees seeking safety in Poland.
These are the items that are being collected:
burn cream, bandages, first aid kits, over-the-counter pain medications, vitamins, soaps, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, diapers, wipes, formula, underwear, socks, feminine supplies, blankets, sheets, towels, flashlights (with batteries).

Absolutely no big bulky items like food or water.

If you do not feel well, please stay home. We strongly urge you to bring your own pair of reusable gloves, but a new pair of reusable gloves will be provided should you not have any available. Bags will be provided.
All trash picked up is to be recorded and categorized for Surfrider Foundation Beach Cleanup Database.
As in the past, the Chapter is planning to do a cleanup every month which will be on the first Saturday of the month. Below are cleanups where the time and place has been confirmed, and after that is a tentative schedule for the rest of the year:
