Non-profit organization Holiday Express will hold a virtual fundraiser on Monday, July 27th from 7-8 PM on Facebook Live. Holiday Express founder and Little Silver resident Tim McLoone will broadcast live from the Supper Club in Asbury Park. He will be joined by Holiday Express musicians and be performing a mixture of holiday songs and fan favorites.
Like most non-profits, Holiday Express has had to recreate their way of raising money to support their mission. Virtual concerts are a fun and safe way to help raise awareness and money for Holiday Express. The event is free to watch on Facebook and hopefully viewers are able to contribute if they can.
It is the mission of Holiday Express to deliver music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year. “While we don’t yet know what the circumstances will be at the 100 places we plan to visit this year, we are working on a creative approach to our 28th holiday season. Whether our events are live or virtual or if our warehouse operations are subject to social distancing, we are prepared to adapt and will be ready to serve, “ says Holiday Express Executive Director, Lorrie Klaric.
