Coastal Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International located in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Since 1994, Coastal Habitat for Humanity has worked in southern coastal Monmouth County to help build homes, hope and community. Through the construction of single family homes , home repairs and renovations, neighborhood leadership and community building activities, Coastal Habitat for Humanity plays an important role in the lives of local residents. Through donations, financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone willing can help families and neighborhoods achieve strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better futures for us all.
Coastal Habitat for Humanity prides itself on the many working parts that come together to achieve our mission, one vital part to this success is our ReStore! The Asbury Park ReStore is a place that offers gentle used housewares, furniture, appliances and building and construction materials at a reduced cost to shoppers. All inventory is donated and prevents, especially in the case of building and construction supplies, thousands of pounds of re-usable material from a landfill. As a social enterprise, all revenue generated from sales support the mission of Coastal Habitat for Humanity directly, to fund home builds, repairs and other community revitalization efforts.
This is a special year! Celebrating 25 years of changing lives on the Jersey shore. We will be honoring local supporters, inviting our community members, homeowners, volunteers and staff and celebrating our accomplishments and our future. Our Hard Hats & High Heels event will be held on Thursday, April 11th at Jumping Brook Country Club from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
