Join Monmouth Conservation on Friday, July 19th to enjoy the long days of summer as we explore the trails of Claypit Creek before kicking off another weekend at the Jersey Shore! This is an early evening walk through the woods with lovely water views of the backwaters of the Navesink River. We will meet at the parking area before setting out on the trails.
Michele Fulton of Happy Buddha will lead our walk, setting the intention in Gratitude. As we walk, we’ll explore how mindfulness, focus, creativity and self-discipline teaches the brain to scan the world for more positive things. Over time, daily practice in gratitude creates more and happiness in your life. Join us and begin to experience how a daily Gratitude practice can work in your life.
Happy Buddha is a community of friends, neighbors and complete strangers. It’s mission is simple, to inspire you and those around you. To create peace and positivity – and have those feelings and smiles go viral. They embrace the power of gratitude in order to appreciate all the positivity in our lives. To learn more about Happy Buddha, please visit us online at beinghappybuddha.com and follow us @beinghappybuddha.
This walk is completely FREE. Monmouth Conservation Foundation asks that participants consider becoming a member of MCF (see link below for membership information). Registration is required.
Our Nature Walks are a great opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, get some exercise and explore a park. Nature Walks are also a way to connect with other local nature lovers and chat along the trail as we discover some of the best parks in our area. Walks will be led by an MCF staff member or volunteer that will point out wildlife or native plants, but mostly these events are an opportunity to enjoy wonderful forested trails with other members of the MCF community. Nature Walks are free. We ask that participants consider becoming a member of MCF. Registration is required.
