When you think of doing the practice of yoga, you consider the benefits of moving through the poses and breathing. Meditation is the act of focusing your mind and can also be a part of a well-rounded yoga experience.

Learning to meditate in yoga involves more than sitting still for a few moments  because yoga meditation is about quieting a busy mind. Being in the moment helps create that beneficial mind-body connection that yoga is known for.


Kūr Wellness Studios can help guide you in this practice. Experience what has been called an “adult nap” in their Meditative Restorative class on Sundays at 4pm. Or push yourself with more physical therapeutic long-held poses in Yin Yoga offered Mondays at 9:15am with Stacey or 6pm with Lexy. Book your class today!
