By Tracey Hall ~

#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity to takes place today, May 5, 2020, as a response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community. We’ve created a list to help you find local non-profits that desperately need your assistance:

The FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties is now Fulfill. We’ve changed our name because we’re doing more than ever to change lives in our communities for the better. Today we focus on more than food distribution. It reflects our commitment to fulfill more of the needs of our neighbors and win the battle against hunger.

Ending hunger in our communities is a complex challenge, so Fulfill provides a full suite of programs to provide the resources people need to become self-sufficient.
