Fall has fallen upon us even though we’re feeling summer-like temps. My friend found this great cider cocktail and judging from neighbor reviews, it’s a keeper! I’ve tweaked it a tad, hope you enjoy!
I personally LOVE apple cider and have several nice & tasty recipes we used in our restaurant with customer approval! I realize margaritas are usually served in a margarita glass, however, for this I prefer a cocktail glass. Your choice!
Makes 1 pitcher:
*8 oz. Apple Cider
*8 oz. pear juice
*6 oz. gold tequila
*4 oz. Grande Mariner or orange liquor
*¼ tsp. nutmeg
*ice
Add these 6 ingredients into a pitcher & stir well.
*Salt
*Lime- slice in half. Place flat side down and slice 4-5 pieces, cutting a slit in each.
In a shallow dish- add salt. Using a hefty piece of lime, place over the rim of a glass, squeeze and rotate the glass to wet the edge. Invert glass into salt and shift in circles to coat. (optional)
Fill glasses, place a lime slice on each rim as a garnish.
*Cinnamon sticks – add a stick to each glass as a swizzle stick.
*Apple slices- cut apple into slices, cut a slit in each, add a slice to rim of each glass as garnish.
