Cream ‘O Crab Chowder Recipe

This is a great one for the “not into cooking but love the taste” people. And….don’t forget the Oysterettes!

Quick and super easy Cream ‘O Crab Chowder Recipe:

1 pound crab meat (claw or prime)

1 quart half and half ( You can use Land O Lakes Natural Cream or milk…fat free.)

1 stick butter


1 red bell pepper diced small

½ scallion bunch best sliced thin on the bias

2-3 tbls carrot shavings –sautéed till soft-add to pot

1 can cream of celery soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup


Mix all together in the crockpot. DO NOT BOIL… heat on low or medium. You can serve with the option of Old Bay seasoning and add salt, pepper, other seasonings you like to taste.
