A Dream Grows On Kennedy And Vine

If there’s one thing the pandemic taught us, it’s that life is precious and fulfilling your dreams can and should be a top priority. Such is the case of the new plant shop opening this weekend at 60 First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands.

Jennifer Spina found herself in this exact situation- a fulfilling career in the travel category that was curtailed by Covid. This led to her taking a leap of faith in opening her own retail plant shop. The idea germinated from a Tik Tok video of a personal plant shopper and the realization of how plants make people happy.

Kennedy and Vine will be more than a plant shop. Once up and running, you can look for classes in all things on growing healthy plants, creative workshops and meditation. In-home plant consultations will also be available. There is no doubt of the therapeutic value of plants that enhance a home or workspace not just with their beauty, but also for their ability to filter and cleanse the air we breathe.kennedy and vine

New beginnings are happening all over for Jennifer. The name of her shop comes from her soon-to-be-married name “Kennedy.” Planning a wedding and launching a new business venture may seem daunting, but Jennifer takes it all in stride. What was once a hobby has now become her passion and her future. She is a true example of how “Plants make people happy!”
