Nothing says “Fall” like fresh apple cider! Being in “The Garden State” has its advantages, as many local farms offer apple picking and delicious cider. Here are a few of our favorite spots to pick up this fabulous fall treat!
A popular destination for fresh goods, it offers fresh-pressed apple cider and a variety of other baked goods, fruits, and deli items. Their cider is so popular that many customers say a trip there “usually turns into a purchase” after trying a free sample.
- Location: 320 Route 34, Colts Neck
This family-owned and operated farm has been around since 1908 and is one of the oldest pick-your-own orchards in New Jersey. They press their own apple cider seasonally, typically from mid-September through mid-May, and also offer hot cider samples in the winter months.

Located near Battleview, this orchard also provides fresh apple cider, along with its famous pies and cider donuts. Visitors can find a selection of fresh farm products, jams, and baked goods in their store.

This is a no-frills, family-run orchard known for its apples and pumpkins, as well as seasonal cider. It’s a great option for a pick-your-own experience followed by some fresh apple cider and cider donuts.

In the fall, this farm offers a corn maze, hayrides, and other activities. Visitors can also buy their fresh and perfectly sweet apple cider and apple cider donuts.
