Ocean’s Harbor House  2^nd annual “A Walk in Their Shoes” 2-mile walk on the Asbury Park boardwalk is on November 7, 2021 at 9 a.m. The walk coincides with National Homeless Youth Awareness Month and calls attention to the fact that 2.5 million youth per year experience homelessness, many right here in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

How can you help?

Individuals, businesses, schools and organizations can participate by serving as sponsors, signing up to walk or organizing a team of walkers.  Walker registration is only $20 and we ask that each walker raise a minimum of $50 from family, friends and colleagues to support your walk. All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and can win prizes in the “Give a Hand, Get a Hand” on-site contest.

It is our wish that our communities can come together and help plant seeds for change and enable our youth to feel safe today and empowered tomorrow!

We are honored that Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden and Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy have signed on as participants and are recruiting team members.
