Join Lunch Break's Family Promise program for our annual youth-led, peer-to-peer fundraising event, A Night Without A Bed event!

Participants will create a $150+ digital fundraising campaign and experience sleeping in a cardboard “home” on-site at the Fort Athletic Club. By constructing makeshift shelters that replicate conditions faced by those experiencing homelessness (safely and respectfully) participants engage in a powerful learning opportunity: to hear stories, advocate for change and foster empathy for families in crisis.

Lunch Break’s Family Promise of Monmouth County provides emergency shelter, meals and
comprehensive assistance free of charge for families who are in custody of minor children, and are at-risk or have become homeless. Lunch Break’s Family Promise of Monmouth County offers families hope, dignity, and the tools to achieve self-sufficiency. In the near future, we aim to grow the program and create permanent housing solutions for families experiencing homelessness through the development of a new housing facility.
