In an effort to keep our guests and our community safe and healthy, Mary's Place by the Sea has decided to go VIRTUAL for the 9th Annual Walk-A-Thon and 2nd Annual 5K Run. The event will take place on Saturday, October 3rd. We will have a virtual announcement/kick-off celebration at 10 AM before everyone steps off for the walk/run in their respective locations. It is hard to believe that this is our 9th Walk/Run for Mary's Place by the Sea! Each year, over 1,000 attendees walk or run in support of women with cancer. While we had hoped to gather in person on October 3rd, we know that it is best to host this year's event virtually. Please know that our guests need your support more than ever. Over the past several months, we have been supporting them through a suite of virtual services such as yoga, meditation, expressive writing, prayer, guided imagery, cooking and nutrition classes, counseling, and more. The virtual services are provided at no cost to women with cancer and will continue to grow even after we are able to re-open our doors. We continue to rely on the support of our generous community to make this all possible. Since our founding, we have served over 10,000 women with cancer thanks to YOUR love and support. We hope you will join us this October in walking or running to sustain our mission for our guests!
