Description
An oasis of habitat for wildlife amidst an urban landscape, High Mountain offers unparalleled outdoor recreation opportunities for pedestrian visitors. The site’s rolling topography—once used as a signaling post during the American Revolution--includes waterfalls, rare ferns and Native American rock shelters, with a grand reveal panorama of northern NJ and the NYC skyline at its summit. We will walk you through the preserve’s history, natural features and 6 miles of spirited trails in preparation for seeing it in person.
This virtual event is free and open to the public, however, registration required.
